Released in 1978 on a new American label (Arista), under the tutelage of legendary music mogul Clive Davis. The title track developed into Al Stewart’s biggest hit single, nudging past “Year of the Cat” by a single chart position, propelling the album to platinum status.Also on this CD the follow up single, “Song on the Radio”, reaching #29 on the Billboard Hot 100.
\nIncluded on this CD , “The Palace of Versailles”,”Life in Dark Water”,”Timeless Skies”, “Almost Lucy”, and the breathtaking “End of the Day”.
