This is the vinyl debut for Ms. Sung, a Houston native. She is joined by Marquis Hill, who is from Chicago. Ms. Sung’s keyboard style is precise and engrossing and she composed all but one of these songs as a cycle evoking the different stages of life from childhood to old age.
