The Samaroo Jets is probably the best known steelband group in the world. As a family band, they were the resident musicians at the Trinidad Hilton Hotel for more than twenty-five years. Because this is a business-type hotel with many returning guests, the Jets were obliged to beef up their repertoire on a weekly basis with classy arrangements from maestro and leader Jit Samaroo.
